Trent's Tracks of 2007: 6 and 5

everyone, and welcome back to Trent’s Tracks of 2007.
I
am going to be counting down my top 40 tracks from 2007, with two songs added
to the list every weekday throughout April. I hope you will all enjoy this
nostalgic trip down memory lane as we go back to a decade ago!
At
6 on this list, it is Avril Lavigne, with Girlfriend.
Be prepared to sing along with a ton of attitude as you play this track. I love
the sassiness this song, and I’m sure there are a lot of you who do too.
We
now go into the top 5!
In
September 2007, this song spent 4 weeks at number one and was a massive
success. It is an incredible song, and it is hard to believe that this guy was
only 17 at the time it was released! Since then, he has gone on to work with
the likes of Akon, Nicki Minaj, and Justin Bieber among others, and it all
started a decade ago with this song.
