Trent's Tracks: Through the Decades 35
Hello everyone and welcome to the last instalment
of Trent’s Tracks: Through the Decades.
Over
the course of five weeks (October 24th – November 27th),
I will be exploring some of the finest music from each of the last five decades
(yes, that’s a whole week for each decade) with a brand-new song being added to
the list every single day. By the end of the five weeks, there will be 35 songs
on the list for you to enjoy from throughout the last 46 years.
We
have now come to the last track on this list.
The
song I have chosen to draw this journey to an end is one of the catchiest songs
from the last few years, in addition to being one of the highest selling. It
has truly become a worldwide sensation, with the video (at the time of writing)
getting close to 2 billion hits on YouTube.
It
brought together two very talented acts in Mark Ronson, and Bruno Mars, and it
produced a piece of music magic.
