Trent's Tracks: Through the Decades 15

Hello everyone and welcome to another edition of Trent’s Tracks: Through the Decades.

Over the course of five weeks (October 24th – November 27th), I will be exploring some of the finest music from each of the last five decades (yes, that’s a whole week for each decade) with a brand new song being added to the list every single day. By the end of the five weeks, there will be 35 songs on the list for you to enjoy from throughout the last 46 years.

We’ve now passed through the first two decades of this journey, and now it’ time to depart from the 1980s and begin our journey through the decade in which I was born. Yes that’s right, this is the 1990s.

Kicking off this great decade of music, we have a group who dominated the charts throughout the 1990s and have gone on to become the biggest-selling boyband in UK chart history. Over the course of their two spells together, Take That have had 12 number one singles in the UK, and have also topped the charts around the world. They may have decreased from five initial members to four, and now to just three, but their status as musical legends has never been in doubt.

This song from 1995 is their biggest hit to date, and undoubtedly the most recognisable. Everyone, here is Take That with Back For Good. A great way to open 90s week, I’m sure you’ll agree.

What do you think? Are you a fan of Take That/this song? Which of their songs is your favourite?

As always, I will leave you my social media links in the table below, and the comments section remains on public for you to share your view with me. I would love to get feedback on this and on any of my other posts.

The next song from the 1990s will be up tomorrow, so be sure to keep an eye out for that. Until then, though, keep positive, keep smiling, and above all else, keep believing!
