Trent's Tracks: Through the Decades 22



Hello everyone and welcome to the start of week 4 of Trent’s Tracks: Through the Decades.

Over the course of five weeks (October 24th – November 27th), I will be exploring some of the finest music from each of the last five decades (yes, that’s a whole week for each decade) with a brand new song being added to the list every single day. By the end of the five weeks, there will be 35 songs on the list for you to enjoy from throughout the last 46 years.

A new week means a new decade, and this week it’s also time for us to head off into the new millennium!

The first song of the week is from 2002, and one which I just remember as being EVERYWHERE that year. It brought together a well-known rapper with a former member of Destiny’s Child, the result of which was a track of pure gold.

Despite the fact that I was only eight years old at the time of its release, I have good memories of this song and the time in which it came out.
