Hello again everyone, happy Friday and welcome to this week’s Trent’s Tracks!

In many ways, this week’s artist was a pioneer, as one of the earliest winners of the “new generation” of talent shows. She won back in 2001, at a time when the modern talent show was just getting started, and was nowhere near as popular as it has become in the years since. In spite of this, she has gone on to have an international career, and one of the longest lasting of any talent show winner.

I found it very difficult to choose which of her songs I was going to add to the list, because they are all amazing in truth. In the end, however, one track from back in 2004 kept jumping out at me.

Here you go then everyone, here is the remarkable Breakaway, by the equally remarkable Kelly Clarkson.
