Trent's Tracks September 30th

Hello all, and welcome to the last Trent’s Tracks of the month. Is it really the end of September already?

For this week’s song, I am taking you all the way back to 1967. This is one of those songs where it is hard to describe why I like it, because I just do. It is catchy, it sounds great, and is simply a brilliant song from a very good group. Not many artists from the 1960s continue to have an influence on people today, so hats off to Davey Jones (who is sadly no longer with us) and the rest of The Monkees for creating this masterpiece which lives on and is still as recognisable today as it was five decades ago.

So, ladies and gentlemen, I give you The Monkees with the great Daydream Believer, a true superstar of a song.

Daydream Believer

Do you like this song? Are you a fan of The Monkees? Are there any artists from the 1960s who you feel also still have an influence today?

As always, you can share your thoughts with me in the comments below, or by clicking on the social media links in the table. I always look forward to hearing from you guys about anything I post, so do feel free to contact me.

Until next time, keep active, keep smiling, and above all else, keep believing!
