Trent's Tracks September 16th
Hello
again everyone, and welcome to another Trent’s Tracks.
I
apologise for not posting last Friday. This was down to laptop issues, but to
make up for it, I am adding TWO tracks this week instead of one. Hope you
enjoy!
Over
the last few years, Owl City has risen and risen in terms of popularity,
producing some great songs along the way. I love the fact that it is a modern
take on classic synth music, something very rarely done with such style by
other artists. Ever since the first single Fireflies back in 2010, I have been
a fan of every song they have released. For this reason, both of this week’s
songs are from them.
Track
number 1 is the theme song from the 2013 film “Wreck It Ralph”. You may judge
me for loving a song from a kids’ movie, but I don’t care, because it is an
incredibly catchy song, and I promise you you will love it. I give you the amazing
When Can I See You Again.

Track
number 2 is a collaboration with Aloe Blacc. As my graduation gets nearer, this
song gets more relevant to my life. It is about embarking on the next step in
your life after leaving education, so for those of you who are graduating high
school, sixth form, college, or university soon, this song is definitely going
to be an anthem for you as it approaches. So, this is the epic Verge.
