Trent's Tracks June 18th
Welcome everyone to the first Trent’s Tracks of the month (a bit later than planned!).
This
week’s track comes from one of the best bands of the last decade, who have
given us so many incredible hits, including Run,
Just Say Yes, and You Are All That I
Have.
This
is without a doubt one of the most remarkable and recognisable songs of recent
years, even being voted the song of the decade by the British public in 2009.
One
of the most shocking things I discovered about this track is that, in spite of
it spending more than a year in the UK charts, it only ever got as high as
number 6!
Here
it is, the absolutely incredible Snow Patrol, with their 2006 hit, Chasing Cars. I’m sure you’ll agree that
this is a superstar of a track, and rightly deserves a place on this list.
