Hello all! Today is the return of Trent’s Tracks, after nearly two months away! I am so glad it’s back and hope you are too. So without further ado, let’s go! There is no doubt in my mind that One Republic are one of the best bands in the world right now, and they don’t seem to be able to stop releasing amazing music. Every time I hear another one of their songs, it doesn’t disappoint. I only discovered this song recently but absolutely loved it as soon as I heard it. Finally, after months of speculation, the next Doctor Who companion has been revealed. This post is going to be my thoughts on what we know already about the character from the short two-minute clip we have been given. First of all, congratulations to Pearl Mackie on being given the role of Bill, and I am really excited to see what this new era will bring to the show and wish all the best of luck to her. Whilst I’ve already seen some people criticising her for whatever reason, I refuse to do so until I have had enough time to get to know the character. That is why at this stage I am remaining neutral on Bill, and will wait until series 10 (due to be broadcast next Spring) before I say whether or not I like the character. Hello everyone! So I guess I’ve got some explaining to do. The last time I posted on this page was at the beginning of March, and I fully intended to keep up my planned posting schedule at that stage. However, as is the case with anyone in education, work has to come first, and I have had a lot of it to do over the last six weeks, as well as another web page to keep up with. It has always been my philosophy with this page to never deliver content unless I feel like I have put 100% into it, and that it is the best it can be. During the last month and a half, I felt as though I was unable to do this, with most of my time and effort being put into other things, and so I took time away from this page whilst my mind was elsewhere.
