We have come to the end Of TWENTY SEVENTEEN I can’t help but think What a year it has been So let’s reflect On all that’s taken place Over the past THREE HUNDRED AND SIXTY-FIVE days OK we’ll start off With the elephant in the room In the world of politics It’s been all doom and gloom The White House got itself A brand-new resident Obama was replaced With a tiny-handed President January was when Trump’s tenure did begin And no-one turned up To see him sworn in Since then he has lurched From crisis to crisis After a year he has still Not managed to beat Isis He tried to bring in His ban on travel But it didn’t take long For those plans to unravel He proposed to introduce A military ban On all of those people Who just happen to be trans* Gender doesn’t matter When you’re on the front line As long as you’...
